In various scenarios such as industrial, medical, transportation, military and other applications, temperature, humidity and other variables of the work site are crucial to monitor, especially in large and complex hazardous environments. However, traditional wired monitoring methods require a significant number of cables to be connected, leading to complicated networking and high costs. Furthermore, this method is not conducive for long-distance monitoring and adjusting the position or number of test points based on the actual situation of the test site is particularly challenging.

To address these shortcomings, a monitoring and alarm system based on wireless sensor network has been designed. The system boasts several advantages, including simple and flexible layout, high reliability, and low energy consumption. As a result, it is especially suited for data acquisition and monitoring in long-distance and complex environments.
